Jesse James: Outlaw

Obverse: The obverse of the medal features a portrait of Jesse James based on the most well-known phot taken during his lifetime. He was a legendary outlaw in the Wild West. He was finally killed by a member of his own gang, Robert Ford. James was shot in the back of the head as he was hanging a picture on a wall.

Reverse: The reverse image is shared by all medals in the series. The central image is a U.S. Marshall's six-pointed star badge. The skull of a steer is prominently placed over the badge. A small Intaglio Mint badge privy, a few horse shoes, a rope and two Colt 45-styled revolvers complete the design.
