Patriotic USOC Design
The United States Olympic Heritage Mark features at the center of the obverse. It consists of the wording "TEAM USA" and the date of the first modern Olympics, "1896," partially encircled by a laurel wreath. Two stars flank the image in a rim frame. Inscriptions of the round's purity, ".999+ FINE SILVER," and weight, "ONE TROY OUNCE," are also included on the frame.
On the reverse is the emblem of the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). It consists of the American flag above the five Olympic rings. The rings represent the five inhabited continents (with the Americas counting as one). Again, two stars flank the image. On this face, frame inscriptions read, "UNITED STATES" and "OLYMPIC TEAM."
