Why add this 2015-P 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Homestead in NGC SP70 to your collection?

This 2015-P 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Homestead is a great piece for any patriotic American’s collection, as well as for the collection of anyone, American or otherwise, who has a love for history or a pioneering spirit. The design on the reverse features three items that were critical to the survival of homesteaders, i.e. those who settled under the Homestead Act. They are food, represented by two ears of corn that form a V-shape at the bottom, water, represented by a water pump just above the crux of the pump, and shelter, represented by a log cabin behind the pump. The word “HOMESTEAD” arches over the top of the cabin, while “NEBRASKA” is inscribed on the lower left and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” is inscribed in the lower right. “2015,” the year of mintage, is on the rim at the bottom. This collectable version of the Homestead is differentiated from the bullion version by the “P” mint mark of the Philadelphia Mint on the obverse and its matte finish. Pick up yours today to celebrate America’s westward expansion or the pioneering spirit, or simply to grow your collection of the America the Beautiful series.
