Why add this 2015-P 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Kisatchie NGC SP70 to your collection?

This 2015-P 5 oz. Silver America the Beautiful Kisatchie is the perfect coin for animal lovers in general and bird lovers in particular. While the obverse is akin to that of the Washington quarter, the image on the reverse features a wild turkey in flight. The bird is shown from the side, enabling the viewer to take in its full extension from head to tail, including one of its wings, which extends upward vertically. Across the bottom of the image is blue stem grass, while longleaf pine trees, which are known as “the trees that built the South,” rise behind the turkey on the left. “KISATCHIE” is inscribed at the top of the rim and “2015,” the mintage year, at the bottom. “LOUISIANA,” home of the national park, and “E PLURIBUS UNUM” are inscribed on the lower right and lower left. The Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) gave this piece a grade of SP70 indicating that it is flawless. Collectors will note that this is the collector’s version of the coin, differentiated from the bullion one by the Philadelphia Mint mark, a “P,” on the obverse and the matte finish.
