Tsar Nicholas II of Russia was executed along with his family in 1918. This was the end of a ruling monarchy in Russia. The note offered here was issued during the time of Nicholas II. Classic Romanov design

Both sides of this note are incredibly intricate, it was issued in 1909. The date is displayed just below the Romanov double-headed eagle.
