But once I read the history of the Royal Hawaiian Mint found here,

I was surprised that it was started right here on my Big Island of Hawaii from an idea of commemorating the Hawaiian Culture to barter among friends in the little community of Ahualoa. This made the value of these coins priceless.
Thank you Telle Presley and all of those whom helped you with your long road to get your idea into action.
I love our Big Island of Hawaii as it is a hidden Gem. I am humbled to own a piece of history which motivates me to delve more into the history of Hawaii and King Kamehameha's greatest achievements. For instance, the term "Merry Monarch" was a term to celebrate King David Kalakaua's credit to restoring Hawaiian Arts and Cultural traditions. I have been going to Merry Monarch through the years and had no idea of this.
I ask you all to support the Royal Hawaiian Mint. I know the inventory is low after Christmas, but maybe someone out there can help them expand their movement into Perpetuating the Hawaiian Culture across the world.
Aloha, Paul
