Why purchase this roll of twenty-five 2020 1 oz. Silver South Korea Phoenix Medallions?
This stunning medal is the first release of the South Korean Mint (KOMSCO) Phoenix series. A mythical bird known as Bong Hwang in Korean culture, the phoenix is legendary for its long life and rebirth from the ashes of its predecessor. This roll includes twenty-five 40 mm diameter 2020 Phoenix bullion medals, each containing 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
Breathtakingly Beautiful Phoenix Imagery
The obverse features an exquisitely detailed phoenix with its wings bowed in flight, beside the inscription "KOREAN PHOENIX 2020" and a stylized flame. Below, a triangular shape with a lenticular security element appears, alternately displaying the Korean language characters for "Bong" and "Hwang" as the viewing angle changes.
Reverse imagery is adapted from the South Korean Presidential Seal, depicting a pair of phoenixes facing each other, with the Taeguk symbol at the center. The inscription "REPUBLIC OF KOREA" curves above, with the "KOMSCO" logo and "1 OZ FINE SILVER 999" below.
Twenty-five Exceptionally Crafted GEM Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Medals
Each 2020 South Korea 1 oz. Silver Phoenix Medal in this twenty-five count roll is considered to be in Brilliant Uncirculated (GEM BU) condition, featuring an outstanding strike with nearly perfect finishes and spectacular eye appeal. A bullion coin defined as GEM BU is uncertified, typically exhibiting the same superior characteristics as a coin earning a grade of Mint State 65 or higher.
This roll of twenty-five 2020 1 oz. Silver Phoenix Medallions will make an exciting addition to your collection!
