Description

These are all 1922-1935 dated United States Peace Silver Dollars with varying Mint Marks: Philadelphia (P), Denver (D), or San Francisco (S). Most of the coins in this inventory item will be dated 1922 or 1923 and be from the Philadelphia mint. The condition of the coins are almost uncirculated. This means that the coin(s) you purchase retains most of it’s original mint luster and has only slight wear on the high points. Overall a very pleasing coin for the price. These are sold as bullion coins and coins will have imperfections. The images shown below are a representation of the quality you will receive. Each coin has an Actual Silver Weight (ASW) of .7734 Troy oz. Because of wear from circulation the weight of each coin may vary slightly.

The Peace Silver Dollar was minted from 1921 to 1928, and again in 1934 and 1935. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the coin was the result of a competition to find designs emblematic of peace after the bloody First World War. Its reverse depicts a Bald Eagle at rest clutching an olive branch, with the legend Peace. It was the last United States dollar coin to be struck for circulation in silver.

This listing is for a single random dated coin of our choice, specific dates cannot be requested. The image shown is an example of the single coin the buyer will receive.
