Why buy this Tin Lithograph Magnus Beck Beer Tip Tray?

Magnus Beck Brewery was an institution of Buffalo, New York. The company was founded by Joseph Friedman, who sold it to Magnus Beck & Baumgartner in 1855. The brewery prided itself on "brewing the best, not the most." The company operated until the Prohibition Era, which started in 1920. The company reopened following the end of the period, but it shut its doors permanently in 1956. This tip tray from the company would make a fantastic addition to any collection of breweriana, especially for those who have high standards for their beer.

This tin lithograph tip tray would have been provided to restaurants and bars by the brewery free of charge as a means of advertising their beer. The tray would have been used to exchange change in transactions. The sign was manufactured in Buffalo, New York, where the brewery was headquartered. The tray measures 4.25" in diameter and weighs about three ounces. Although it is more than a century old, it remains in excellent condition.

Don't miss your chance to own this Tin Lithograph Magnus Beck Beer Tip Tray.
