Mintage of the round is undetermined; production of the design will continue on demand only from October 1, 2017, through January 1, 2018.
Spectacular Detailed Imagery
The obverse depicts the Black Horse with its rider carrying a scale, the traditional device for weighing bread during a famine. Inscribed "BLACK HORSE OF FAMINE" above, with a weighing scale privy mark below.
The reverse features four horses behind a wood grained shield depicting the privy mark of each horseman, surrounded by the legend "THE FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYPSE" and "ONE OUNCE 999 FINE SILVER."
