Why Order This PF70 First Releases 2023 Canada Super Incuse Black Rhodium Proof 1 oz Silver Maple Leaf with an Exclusive Canada Label?

The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is among the world's favorite silver bullion coins. These coins are struck by the Royal Canadian Mint (RCM) and were first issued in 1988. In 2021, the Super Incuse Maple Leaf debuted to the delight of collectors around the world, featuring a maple leaf reverse design that sinks 1.5 mm into the surface of the coin. That's almost 40% of the coin's total thickness! The specimen offered here was issued for 2023 and features a super incuse reverse design as well as select black rhodium plating. Production of this coin was strictly limited.

  • This coin was struck from 1 troy ounce of .9999 fine silver.
  • $20 legal tender in Canada, this coin boasts a reverse proof finish.
  • The reverse design features a super incuse strike.
  • Both the obverse and reverse were selectively plated in black rhodium.
  • Mintage was limited to 8,000 pieces.
  • 2023 marks the third year of issue of the Super Incuse Maple Leaf.

Stunning Super Incuse Design

Obverse: At the time of production, it is not known when the Royal Canadian Mint will stop using the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. While the RCM has not yet made a statement, it is likely that 2023 will be the final appearance of Her Late Majesty on Canadian coins. Susanna Blunt's classic effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the obverse silver against the black rhodium background, producing a very unique look. The years of Her Late Majesty's rule have been inscribed here as well.

Reverse: The maple leaf design is on this side and it looks spectacular with the dramatic super incuse strike. The maple leaf has also been coated with black rhodium and looks very impressive against the silver background and inscriptions.
