Horrifying Creature Portraits

Dracula and Jekyll and Hyde Rounds: The Dracula round obverse depicts the famed vampire in a cape with a high-flared collar, as he points forward as if choosing his next victim, with a candle in hand. The obverse of the Jekyll and Hyde round demonstrates the dual personality of the fictional character in a single bisected image, with the dapper, good Dr. Jekyll on the left, and the crazed unkempt vision of the evil Mr. Hyde on the right. Each image includes the character's name inscribed above. The rounds feature a common reverse, with the Intaglio Mint's ionic column logo at the center of a spiral radial line pattern. The design is encircled by a textured frame containing the inscriptions ".999 FINE SILVER," "TWO TROY OUNCES" and the 2020 year of issue as the Roman numerals "MMXX."

Gargoyle Round: On the ultra high relief Gargoyle round obverse, the form of the horned creature depicted is inspired by one of those that symbolically protect the Notre Dame de Paris. The complex cityscape of Paris sprawls in the background, with the distinctive Eiffel Tower rising in the distance, opposite the inscription "NOTRE-DAME." The reverse is designed to appear as a gothic style rose window, with a single gargoyle in the center, perched above the inscription "GARGOYLES OF THE WORLD." The declaration of "TWO TROY OUNCES .999 FINE SILVER" curves near the round's rim below.
