Why add the 3-Coin Toned 1885-O Morgan Silver Dollar Set From the Great Montana Collection NGC MS65 to your collection?
Struck at the New Orleans U.S. Mint facility, this 3-Coin Set of Toned 1885-O Morgan Silver Dollars achieved the elevated Mint State 65 (MS65) grade from the experts at Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). Each coin is struck on a 90% pure silver planchet containing .7734 oz. of silver bullion. The uniquely and beautifully toned coins pictured are the actual coins you will receive.
The Silver Dollar of the Old West
George Morgan's silver dollar was created because of the lobbying efforts of silver mining interests in Western states. These efforts resulted in the passage of the Bland-Allison Act. The obverse design features the image of Anna Williams, a Philadelphia school teacher, who modeled as Lady Liberty. The reverse of the coin features a laurel wreath surrounding a formidable Bald Eagle with his wings spread. The motto "In God We Trust" appears in Gothic lettering.
"Buy the coin, not the holder"
MS65 is an attractive, high grade for Morgan dollars but this isn't the only reason to consider adding this set to your collection. These examples are unique, stunning coins. Not only do each of the coins feature the popular Great Montana Collection pedigree they also feature astounding and utterly unique and attractive toning.
