Why Buy This MS63 1883 to 1885 Morgan Dollar 3 Piece Set from the Great Montana Collection?

Morgan Silver Dollars are some of the most widely collected classic U.S. coins. They were minted from 1878 through 1904 and then again in 1921. Many are drawn to them because of their association with the Wild West. This set includes 3 coins, Morgan dollars from 1883, 1884, and 1885. All 3 were struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Mintage figures for these coins were relatively similar, all of them are between 12,000,000 and 18,000,000. However, the coins in this set were a part of the Great Montana Collection. If you aren't familiar, the Great Montana Collection is a coin hoard that was discovered in 1998. There were around 17,000 coins in the hoard.

Timeless Designs by Morgan

These coins are known as Morgan dollars because both the obverse and reverse were designed by George T. Morgan. Liberty is depicted on the obverse, she's wearing a cap and has wavy hair. The date is on the obverse as well.

The reverse displays the face value. Morgan's bald eagle can be seen here.

3 MS63 Coins

All 3 coins in this set were certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation. Each one received the grade of Mint State 63, these coins are in Uncirculated condition.
