Adolph A. Weinman's timeless rendition of Lady Liberty is featured on the obverse, wrapped in the folds of the American flag, as she reaches her right hand towards a future of continued freedom and liberty. Inscribed "2019," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "LIBERTY."
The reverse design by John Mercanti depicts a heraldic eagle clutching an olive branch and arrows with thirteen stars above. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "W" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
