Why purchase this 2-piece set of Early Releases 2019-W Burnished American Silver Eagles?
The U.S. Mint's American Silver Eagle series was well established by the time the collectible burnished (uncirculated) variety of the coin was introduced in 2006, in honor the series' 20th Anniversary. With the exception of 2009-2010, the burnished coin has been produced annually ever since, featuring the patriotic designs by Adolph A. Weinman and John Mercanti. Struck at the West Point Mint, each coin in this pair of 2019-W Burnished Silver Eagles contains 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
Gorgeous Designs Symbolizing Liberty and Freedom
Weinman's classic Walking Liberty design for the 1916 half dollar is depicted on the obverse. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "2019" and "IN GOD WE TRUST."
Mercanti's reverse design features a heraldic eagle beneath thirteen stars, surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "W" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
Immaculate Mint State 70 with Chief Engraver Signed Early Releases Labels
This pair of 2019-W Burnished American Silver Eagles was submitted to Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) for review within thirty days of their release date. The silver dollars were individually graded, each earning a perfect Mint State 70 grade. The coins are presented in two NGC black core holders, accompanied by Early Releases certification labels signed by former U.S. Mint Chief Engravers, one bearing the signature of Elizabeth Jones, the other signed by John Mercanti.
