Why add this impeccably graded First Releases 2023-W Burnished American Silver Eagle coin to in your collection?

The American Silver Eagle has been a popular annually issued U.S. Mint product since 1986. The Mint introduced the elegant burnished (uncirculated) version of the silver dollar coin in 2006 in honor of the series' 20th anniversary. Annually, the mintage of the burnished Silver Eagle is traditionally lower than the proof and bullion varieties.

  • This 2023 American Silver Eagle coin was struck at the West Point Mint from 1 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
  • The coin is a third year of issue Type-2 Silver Eagle with a satin-like burnished finish.
  • As a counterfeit prevention element design of the coin includes an interrupted reeded edge.
  • The 40.60 mm diameter silver dollar qualified for the exciting First Releases attribution.

Exquisite Silver Eagle Design

Obverse: Lady Liberty strolls toward the rising sun on the obverse. She is draped in an American flag, while cradling a bundle of oak and laurel branches. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2023." The design also incorporates the "AW" monogram of renowned early 20th-century sculptor Adolph A. Weinman. The time-honored patriotic image originally appeared on the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar.

Reverse: On the reverse, an eagle lifts its wings in preparation for landing with an oak branch intended for its nest in its grasp. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "ONE DOLLAR" and the "W" Mint mark. U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist Emily Damstra created the breathtaking wildlife image.
