Obverse inscriptions include her name, "LIBERTY," the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the date, "2023." Adolph Weinman was a prolific sculptor who immigrated to the United States from Germany. His works remain on display in several American cities, including New York, Baltimore, and Detroit.
Reverse: On the reverse, an eagle soars with an oak branch in its talons. The image, which was created by Emily Damstra, is encircled by three rim inscriptions, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," and "1 OZ. FINE SILVER." "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is also inscribed on this face. Emily Damstra is an artistic, designer, and scientific illustrator.
