Obverse: The coin’s obverse features Adolph Weinman’s Walking Liberty design. The morning sun shines on an American flag-draped Liberty as she carries laurel and oak branches. Inscriptions on this face read, “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2022.” Adolph Weinman was a prominent sculptor. He was one of the central figures in the improvements in American coinage in the early 20th century.

Reverse: On the reverse is a highly detailed rendering of an eagle preparing to land with an oak branch in its talons. The inscription “E PLURIBUS UNUM’ is included inside the rim inscriptions. The design, which was created by Emily Damstra, is encircled by inscriptions that note the name of the issuing country, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” face value, “ONE DOLLAR,” and metal content, “1 OZ. FINE SILVER. Emily Damstra has her M.F.A. from the University of Michigan. She has contributed several US coin designs since her debut in 2017.
