Obverse inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "2022." Adolph Weinman played a central role in the early 20th century American numismatic renaissance. He was an immigrant from Germany and a prominent sculptor.

Reverse: An eagle prepares to land with an oak branch with its wings spread and an oak branch in its talons on the reverse. The image was designed by Emily Damstra. Rim inscriptions offer the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," the coin's face value, "ONE DOLLAR," and its metal content, "1 OZ. FINE SILVER."
