Majestic Landing Eagle Design by Emily Damstra
Obverse: Gracing the obverse is the historic Walking Liberty design of Adolph Weinman. The morning sun rises above mountains as Liberty, draped in the American flag, carries branches of laurel and oak. Obverse inscriptions include the central figure's name, "LIBERTY," the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the date, "2022." Adolph Weinman was a prolific sculptor who immigrated to the United States. He designed two of the most famous coins in American history, the Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the Mercury Dime.
Reverse: The reverse bears a Landing Eagle design by Emily Damstra. The bird carries an oak branch as its prepares to land. Inscriptions on this face include the statutory motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM," the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," the coin's face value, "ONE DOLLAR," and its metal content, "1 OZ. FINE SILVER." Emily Damstra received an MFA from the University of Michigan. This is the most significant yet of her several numismatic contributions.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) provided this coin's grading information on an exclusive Eagle label. That information includes a Mint State 69 grade and First Releases certification. The former indicates that the coin appears perfect to the naked eye, while the latter means that it was submitted for grading no more than 30 days after its initial release from the mint.
