Powerful Juvenile Oak Tree Design by Donna Weaver
Obverse: Donna Weaver's obverse design, which was sculpted by Joseph Menna, features a juvenile oak tree. Both statutory mottoes, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," are inscribed on this face. Also included are the date, "2022," and the phrase "WITH FREEDOM OF SPEECH LIBERTY BLOSSOMS." Donna Weaver worked at the Philadelphia Mint from 2000-2006. She designed all five obverses for this series within a series.
Reverse: On the reverse is a design by Patricia Lucas-Morris that was sculpted by Don Everhart. An eagle flies with an olive branch in its talons. Also included on this face is the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." Patricia Lucas-Morris has illustrated children's books for Harcourt Brace and SRA/McGraw-Hill.
