Why purchase this 2022-P The Simpsons: Bart 1 oz. silver bullion coin?The Simpsons™, an animated sitcom created by cartoonist Matt Groening, has been airing since 1989. This release from the Perth Mint is an homage to Bart Simpson, the eldest child of Homer and Marge Simpson, a character known for mischievous and rebellious antics. The character's name was created as an anagram for the word "brat."
Classic Bart Simpson ImageryObverse: The obverse is graced with a right facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a jeweled tiara upon her head. The portrait is encircled by the inscriptions "QUEEN ELIZABETH II," "1 OZ 9999 AG," "2022," "TUVALU" and "1 DOLLAR." Below the portrait, the initials "IRB" appear, crediting sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley with the design. Mr. Rank-Broadley is an acclaimed British artist, who created this distinctive likeness of Great Britain's longest reigning monarch in 1998. Reverse: The reverse depicts the character of Bart Simpson, seeming to boldly burst through the image frame.
