Adorable Wombat Design

Obverse: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is portrayed facing right on the obverse, with the famed Royal Diamond Diadem resting upon her head. The image is framed by a wide border containing the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "AUSTRALIA" and "1 DOLLAR." This likeness of the monarch designed in 2015, is an example of the work of award-winning British sculptor Jody Clark.

Reverse: The reverse depicts a solitary wombat standing in the rough terrain which is typical to the landscape of the Australian Outback, surrounded by a clusters of foliage. The delightful image is encircled by a frame bearing the inscription "WOMBAT" above, the "P" Mint mark of the Perth Mint on the left, and "2022 1 OZ 9999 SILVER" curving below.
