Charming Jurassic World: T.Rex Zone Sign Design
Obverse: A right facing effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is encircled by the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II,” “NIUE,” “5 DOLLARS” and “2022” on the obverse. UCS LLC and Amblin licensing credit are located near the coin’s rim. The portrait of the monarch was created in 1998 by award-winning British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley.
Reverse: The reverse is modelled after a standard diamond-shaped yellow road sign, which is utilized exclusively for an advance warning to proceed with caution. A black Tyrannosaurus-Rex silhouette is positioned at the center, between the inscriptions “T.REX” and “ZONE.” The fossilized head logo of the franchise appears at the bottom corner. The antiqued, weather-worn surface of the coin features a trio of claw marks which extend over the left edge, emphasizing the gravity of the sign’s warning.
