Reverse: The silhouette of a Marine stands behind a young boy holding a Marine's dress cap on the reverse, as an American flag flutters in the background. Surrounding inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "HALF DOLLAR" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM," with "SOME GAVE ALL" symbolically positioned in the negative space of the Marine's figure.
