Why Choose This PF70 UC First Releases 2022 China 150 g Proof Gold Panda in a White Core Slab with a Huang Signed Panda Label?
In 1982, China issued the first Gold Panda coins. This was the beginning of the Chinese Panda series of bullion coins as we know them. 2022 is the 40th anniversary of the series and to mark the occasion, China made a seldom seen exception for this year's design, by including a privy mark. Like other collectible coins issued by China, mintage of this 150 gram proof Gold Panda is limited. This stunning piece was struck at China's Shenyang Mint.
- A mintage limit of 10,000 pieces is in place for this coin.
- This China Panda is made of .999 fine gold and weighs 150 grams.
- This proof Gold Panda has a new design for 2022 and a special privy mark for the 40th anniversary.
- This coin is even NGC certified with a label you have to see to appreciate.
Impressive Panda Cub Design with Anniversary Privy
Obverse: If you're looking for the date, it's located on this coin's obverse. The design on this side shows Beijing's Temple of Heaven.
Reverse: The new design on the reverse is the work of artist Huang Qin. It shows a snowy hill as two panda cubs slide down. Remember that this is the next stage of the panda cub that was first shown in 2019. This series within the Panda series is set to run through 2028. If you look to the left portion of the design you'll see the 40th anniversary privy mark that was added for 2022. A panda has even been worked into the design of the privy mark.
