Elegant Beauty of the Silver Eagle

Obverse: The obverse features the revival of a Lady Liberty rendition designed by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman for the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Ms. Liberty is depicted as a beautiful young woman draped in an American flag, while walking towards the rising sun. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "2022" and "IN GOD WE TRUST." The "AW" monogram crediting the artist first appeared on the Silver Eagle in 2021, on the Type-2 release.

Reverse: The reverse is graced with an eagle clutching an oak branch, as it lifts is wings to prepare for landing. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER" and "ONE DOLLAR." The design was created by renowned illustrator Emily Damstra, a U.S. Mint Artistic Infusion Program artist since 2014.
