Powerful Landing Eagle Design by Emily Damstra
Obverse: The obverse bears the traditional Walking Liberty design of Adolph Weinman, which was taken from the half dollar that shares its name. The early morning sun begins to rise and shines on an American flag-draped Liberty, who carries branches. "LIBERTY," the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the date, "2021," are inscribed on the obverse. Adolph Weinman played an important role in the early 20th century American numismatic renaissance. His most important contributions to the effort were the Mercury Dime and the Walking Liberty Half Dollar.
Reverse: An eagle spreads its wings as it prepares to land with an oak branch in tow in Emily Damstra's new reverse design. "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is inscribed to the right just inside one of the rim inscriptions. The rim inscriptions read, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," and "1 OZ. FINE SILVER."
