Why purchase this 2 oz. Silver Proof-like 2021 Great White Shark coin?
The first release of the Solomon Islands Ocean Predators series is a tribute to the Great White Shark. The coin is dramatically shaped to demonstrate the unbridled power of one of the ocean's most feared creatures.
Fantastic Great White Shark Imagery
Obverse: The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley's effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, encircled by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "SOLOMON ISLANDS" and "5 DOLLARS." An acclaimed British sculptor, Mr. Rank-Broadley crafted this likeness of the Queen in 1998.
Reverse: An aquatic scene is depicted from water level on the reverse, as a Great White Shark bursts from the ocean beyond the coin's border, with its razor sharp teeth on full display. In the background, a seal swims in the water's depth, while gulls soar in the sky above. "9999 SILVER 2 T OZ" and "2021" are inscribed.
