Stunning Samurai Mask Design
Obverse: Ian Rank-Broadley’s right-side portrait of Queen Elizabeth II graces the obverse. Just below is the Samoan coat of arms. Inscriptions at the bottom of this face note the coin’s date, “2021,” and face value, “5 DOLLARS.” Other obverse inscriptions note the featured monarch’s name and title, “QUEEN ELIZABETH II,” the name of the issuing country, “SAMOA,” and the coin’s weight and purity, “2 OZ .999 SILVER.”
Reverse: The reverse design depicts a samurai mask. The mask includes a fierce face and horns that extend upward and outward from a second face above.
