The Morgan Dolls is an iconic coin that was issued from 1878-1904 and for a lone year in 1921. Designer George T. Morgan broke from tradition by depicting Liberty as an American style figure instead of a Greek style one and in doing so helped a country still healing from a bloody Civil War to heal and form a common, unique identity.
