Striking Eagle Landing Design by Emily Damstra

Obverse: On the obverse is the iconic Walking Liberty design of Adolph Weinman. Wearing a Phrygian cap and carrying laurel and oak branches, Liberty strides confidently in the early morning sun. Her name, "LIBERTY," is inscribed on the top portion of the rim, while other obverse inscriptions include the date, "2021," and the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST." Adolph Weinman was a prominent sculptor and numismatic designer. He sculpted several pieces that can still be seen in various American cities, but he is most famous for designing the Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the Mercury Dime.

Reverse: Emily Damstra's Eagle Landing design replaces John Mercanti's Great Seal adaptation on the reverse. The bird prepares to land with an oak branch in its talons. Rim inscriptions remain the same, but they have been rearranged. They read, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "ONE DOLLAR," and "1 OZ. FINE SILVER." Also inscribed on this face is the motto "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
