The second release of the Perth Mint's Lunar Series III is a celebration of the second animal symbol of the twelve year Chinese Zodiac, the determined and dependable Ox.
Charming Ox Imagery
Obverse: The right facing crowned effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is located on the obverse. The portrait created in 2015 by The Royal Mint designer Jody Clark is surrounded by the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "AUSTRALIA," "2 OZ 9999 AG" "2021" and "2 DOLLARS."
Reverse: The rimless reverse design features an adult ox walking beside its playful calf, beneath a cherry blossom tree. The backgrounds depicts a path to a quaint mountain village and a Chinese pheasant in flight, with an array of stylized auspicious clouds above. The Perth Mint mark "P" is carved into the face of the mountain.

This 2021-P Australian Lunar Series III, 2 oz. Silver Antiqued Year of the Ox coin is offered by ModernCoinMart in ungraded Brilliant Uncirculated (GEM BU) condition. The coin is presented in a classically styled, clear-lidded display case, and housed with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity in an innovatively designed, illustrated shipper.
