Bones and Scotty as Delightful Chibi Characters
Obverse: The obverse features a classic rendition of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in a right facing pose. The effigy is accompanied by the inscriptions “ELIZABETH II NIUE” “2022 2 DOLLARS” and “1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER,” with the Trademark of CBS Studios Inc. below. This portrait of the monarch was designed by renowned British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998.
Leonard McCoy Coin Reverse: Dr. McCoy is depicted with bright blue eyes, as a charming Chibi character on the reverse. His is dressed in traditional black Starfleet pants and boots, with his science officer’s blue shirt adorned with a gold-colored delta shield insignia bearing the emblem of the science division of Starfleet.
