Why add this limited mintage Brilliant Uncirculated 2 oz. Silver High Relief 2021 Ruby Scarabaeus Colorized Antiqued coin to your collection?
This exquisite antiqued silver coin with ruby accents celebrates the mysticism and symbolism of the Scarabaeus. Commonly known as the scarab beetle, the insect was revered as a symbol of rebirth and divinity to the civilizations of ancient Egypt. The scarab was often worn or carried by the Egyptians as a talisman to attract good fortune.
Breathtaking Scarabaeus Design
Obverse: The obverse is adorned with the right facing image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The effigy is surrounded by a beaded border, along with the inscriptions "ELIZABETH II," "NIUE ISLAND," "5 DOLLARS," "2021" and "AG 999." Acclaimed British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley created this rendition of the Queen in 1998.
Reverse: The reverse features a Scarabaeus with its wings gloriously spread over the surface of the rimless coin. Vibrant crimson and gold colors accent the high relief creature, spectacularly contrasting against the antiqued background. The design includes three inset ruby stones, which the Egyptians believed possessed the power to restore vitality and inspire happiness.
