Delightful Harry Potter Design
Obverse: The obverse features an elegantly rendered likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The inscription “ELIZABETH II NIUE” is positioned above the portrait, with “2021 2 DOLLARS” below. Additional inscriptions located near the base of the coin include “1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER,” “WIZARDING WORLD” and the Warner Brothers trademark. The monarch’s portrait was created by renowned British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley in 1998.
Reverse: The colorized reverse depicts a short and adorable Chibi-style Harry Potter clothed in blue and white striped pyjama pants and a navy blue “H” sweater. The character is illustrated wearing his signature round glasses, with his famed lightning bolt scar visible between locks of his sleep-rumpled hair.
