Obverse: Lady Liberty walks towards the sunrise on the obverse carrying a cluster of oak and laurel, while elegantly draped in an American flag. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "2021" and "IN GOD WE TRUST." This rendition of Liberty first appeared on the 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar created by renowned medallic sculptor Adolph A. Weinman. The distinctive "AW" monogram crediting the artist is a new addition to the Type-2 style Silver Eagle.

Reverse: An eagle with lifted wings is centered on the reverse, grasping a branch of oak in its talons. The image is surrounded by the inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER" and "ONE DOLLAR." The Eagle Landing design is the work of Emily Damstra, creator of multiple coin and medal images for the U.S. and Royal Canadian Mints.
