Obverse: The Temple of Heaven's Hall of Prayer for Abundant Harvests features on the obverse, as is tradition. The building, which stands at the center of a tiered platform, is a stunning example of traditional Chinese architecture. It is encircled by a rim frame that bears two inscriptions, "People's Republic of China," which is in Chinese characters at the top, and "2021."
Reverse: The reverse features a mother and cub panda design by Tong Fang. The cub climbs a tree as his mother watches him lovingly. The coin's face value in inscribed on the right, and its weight and purity, "30 G AG .999," are included along the rim.

Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) provided this coin's grading information on a label that features an image of the Great Wall of China. NGC graded the piece Mint State 70, thus indicating that it appears perfect as seen under 5x magnification. The grading company also certified the coin Early Releases, which means that it was submitted for grading within 30 days of its initial release from the mint. The coin comes set in a white core holder.
