Exquisite Maple Leaf Design by Walter Ott
Obverse: Susanna Blunt's famous portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing earrings and a necklace graces the obverse. Unlike depictions of the monarch on the currency of other countries and territories, this one shows her with neither a crown nor a tiara. The monarch's name, "ELIZABETH II," is inscribed at the top, while inscriptions along the bottom portion of the rim note the coin's face value, "5 DOLLARS," and date, "2021."
Reverse: Walter Ott's famous maple leaf design features on the obverse. The purity of the coin, "9999," is noted on both sides of the leaf. Rim inscriptions note the name of the issuing country, "CANADA," and the coin's metal content in English and French, "FINE GOLD 1/10 OZ OR PUR."
