Why purchase this First Day of Issue 2021 American Silver Eagle bullion coin?
The American Silver Eagle has been issued since 1986. The U.S. Mint plans to introduce a brand new reverse design for the bullion series in mid-2021. However, the early 2021 releases of the series will be minted for the final time graced with retired 12th Chief Engraver John Mercanti's classically styled Heraldic Eagle design.
Patriotic American Silver Eagle Design

Reverse: The reverse is adorned with a heraldic eagle clutching an olive branch and arrows, with thirteen stars representing the original colonies above. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
