Why order this $50 American 2021 1 oz Gold Buffalo?The American Gold Buffalo Series marks its 16th issue in 2021, and you have a chance to be a part of the celebration with this coin. The series features designs from one of the most beloved coins in American history, James Earle Fraser's Buffalo Nickel. The Gold Buffalo was introduced to give collectors a purer American option than the .9167 fine American Gold Eagle.
Featuring the Classic Buffalo Nickel Designs of James Earle FraserObverse: The obverse and reverse designs both come from James Earle Fraser's Buffalo Nickel. On the obverse is a composite portrait of a Native American man facing right. "LIBERTY' is inscribed in front of his face on the rim. Inscriptions on his shoulder note the date, "2021," and the last initial of the designer, "F." Reverse: On the reverse, an American bison features in left-side profile. The national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," is inscribed below his head, and the other statutory motto, "E PLURIBUS UNUM," is above his back. The coin's face value, "$50," is on the ground. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "1 OZ. .9999 FINE GOLD" are inscribed along the rim. Impeccable MS70 FDI with Black Core Holder and Buffalo LabelNumismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) awarded this coin their highest grade, Mint State 70. A coin must appear perfect under 5x magnification to receive that grade. NGC also indicated that this piece qualified for the First Day of Issue designation.
