Featuring the Historic Walking Liberty Design of Adolph Weinman

Obverse: Adolph Weinman's classic Walking Liberty design, which first appeared on the half dollar of the same name, graces the obverse. The morning sun shines on an American flag-draped Liberty as she carries laurel and oak branches. Her name, "LIBERTY," is inscribed on this face, as are the date, "2021," and national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST." Adolph Weinman was a major contributor to America's early 20th century numismatic renaissance. He is best known for designing the Walking Liberty Half Dollar and the Mercury Dime.

Reverse: John Mercanti's reverse design is an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States. An eagle clutches arrows and an olive branch while holding a banner that reads, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak. Rim inscriptions provide the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," the face value of the coin, "ONE DOLLAR," and its metal content, "1 OZ. FINE SILVER." John Mercanti spent nearly four decades with the US Mint, including time as its twelfth Chief Engraver. He is the most prolific numismatic designer in American history.
