Why purchase this limited mintage 2020-W America the Beautiful V75 Privy National Park of American Samoa Quarter?

In 2019, the U.S. Mint released a limited number of clad quarters with a "W" Mint mark directly into circulation. The Mint is continuing this trend for 2020, with an exciting new twist. The 2020-W America the Beautiful quarters will be struck with a "V75" privy mark. Featuring a "V" to represent allied Victory, the privy is a tribute to the 75th Anniversary of conclusion of the Second World War. The mark is specifically shaped to replicate the design of the Rainbow Pool at the National World War II Memorial located Washington, D.C. Mintage of this 2020-W National Park of American Samoa quarter is limited to just 2,000,000.

Imagery Honoring the Park's Distinctive Wildlife

A Samoan fruit bat pair is depicted hanging upside-down on the reverse. The design by Richard Masters and Phebe Hemphill includes the inscriptions "NATIONAL PARK," "AMERICAN SAMOA," "2020" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."

The obverse features John Flanagan's classically styled portrait of George Washington. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," "QUARTER DOLLAR" and West Point's "W" Mint Mark are inscribed. The president faces the exciting V75 privy mark.
