Time-Honored Representation of Liberty
Lady Liberty is depicted on the obverse walking towards the rising sun enveloped in an American flag, while cradling an enormous bouquet of oak and laurel branches in her left arm. Inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "2020" and "IN GOD WE TRUST."
A heraldic eagle with thirteen stars above is featured on the reverse, designed by John Mercanti. Inscribed "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "W."
