Why order this 2020-W Congratulations Set 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle?

This Congratulations Set is the perfect way to congratulate someone who has a major event in 2020. Be it a milestone birthday, a new job, a graduation, a new home, or any other celebration, this is the perfect gift. The set features a Proof Silver Eagle in themed packaging. The coin was struck at the West Point Mint from 1 oz of .999 fine silver and bears a "W" mint mark on the reverse.

Featuring Adolph Weinman's Classic Walking Liberty Design

The coin's obverse bears Adolph Weinman's Walking Liberty design. The image first appeared on the half dollar in 1916 and remained there through 1947. It returned for the Silver Eagle Series in 1986. Liberty carries laurel and oak branches, which represent civilian and military honors, respectively, in her left hand while extending her right hand above the rising sun. She wears a Phrygian cap, which identifies her as a freed slave, and is draped in the American flag. Her name, "LIBERTY," is inscribed along the top part of the rim, while the national motto, "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the date, "2020," are also included on this face.

An eagle guards a union shield in John Mercanti's reverse design. It is an adaptation of the Great Seal of the United States. In the bird's beak is a ribbon that bears the inscription "E PLURIBUS UNUM." The bird also holds arrows, symbols of America's willingness to defend her values, and an olive branch, which indicates a preference for peace, in its talons. Above its head are thirteen stars, which represent the original states. This design is encircled by three rim inscriptions, which note the name of the issuing country, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," the coin's weight, "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and its face value, "ONE DOLLAR."

Nearly Perfect PF69 UC ER

This coin earned a Proof 69 grade from the experts at Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). That grade means that the coin appears perfect to the naked eye. This piece was also certified Ultra Cameo due to its sharp contrasts between heavily frosted devices and deeply mirrored fields. Finally, it was certified Early Releases, which means that it was submitted for grading no more than 30 days after its initial release from the mint.
