Liberty faces left wearing a winged cap, which represents freedom of thought. Obverse inscriptions include "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST," and "2020."
Reverse: The reverse design comes from Weinman's 1907 American Institute of Architects Gold Medal. Executed in high relief, it features an eagle with a branch in its mouth. "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM" are inscribed at the top and bottom of this face, respectively. Other reverse inscriptions include "$25" and "1 OZ. PD .9995 FINE." Adolph Weinman was a sculptor and remains one of the most famous numismatic designers in American history. He is most famous for his Mercury dime and Walking Liberty half dollar.
