Why purchase this impressively graded Burnished 2020-W American Silver Eagle coin?
The American Silver Eagle with a burnished finish was introduced by the U.S. Mint in 2006 to honor the twentieth year of issue of the popular series.
Stunning Silver Eagle Design
Obverse: The obverse features a revival of the personification of Liberty created for 1916 Walking Liberty Half Dollar by sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, acclaimed early 20th century sculptor. The beautiful Lady is portrayed carrying a cluster of oak and laurel branches, while elegantly draped in an American flag. Inscribed "LIBERTY," "IN GOD WE TRUST" and "2020."'
Reverse: A heraldic eagle is located on the reverse grasping arrows and an olive branch, with thirteen stars above. The patriotic design is credited to John Mercanti, the U.S. Mint's Chief Engraver from 2006 until 2010. Inscriptions include "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," "ONE DOLLAR," "W" and "E PLURIBUS UNUM."
