Why purchase this (2020) United States 1 oz Silver Andrew Jackson Presidential Matte Medal?
Share in the United States Mint's celebration of America's seventh President with this silver presidential silver medal. Andrew Jackson shocked the political establishment when he was elected President in 1928. His presidency is the only one to be referred to as its own time period, "the Jacksonian Era." This medal that honors him has a matte finish. Like American Silver Eagles, it was struck from 1 oz of .999 fine silver.
Featuring a Striking President Andrew Jackson Portrait by Moritz Furst

The reverse was designed and sculpted by John Reich. The words "PEACE AND FRIENDSHIP" join a crossed tomahawk and peace pipe and a pair of clasped hands. The inscription refers to peace and friendship between Native Americans and the United States. The wrist of the hand representing the United States has a cuff with three stripes and buttons.
