This gorgeous silver bullion coin produced by the Perth Mint celebrates the continuing success of English author Ian Fleming's famed British Secret Service character, agent James Bond 007. Known for preferring his martinis "shaken, not stirred," the fictional "007" spy has appeared in feature films for more than fifty years. The 2020 James Bond bullion coin is struck for issue by Tuvalu from 1 Troy oz. of .9999 fine silver. Mintage of the 40.90 mm diameter silver dollar is limited to 30,000.
Classic Bond Style Design
The reverse, designed by Lucas Bowers, features a spiral graphic representing the interior of a gun barrel, an image adapted from the animated sequence at the beginning of each Bond movie. The 007 gun logo crafted by artist Joseph Caroff for the 1962 film "Dr. No" appears at the center.
The obverse depicts the Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The right facing portrait is encircled by the inscriptions "QUEEN ELIZABETH II," "1 OZ 9999 AG," "2020," "TUVALU" and "1 DOLLAR."
